Brazilian Coffee

1/4 cup50 ml unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tsp5 ml salt

1 can300 ml Eagle Brand® Regular or Low Fat Sweetened Condensed Milk

4 cups1 L water

2 1/2 cups625 ml strong coffee

1 tbsp15 ml imitation rum or brandy extract (or to taste)


  1 In a large saucepan, combine cocoa and salt. Stir in sweetened condensed milk.

  2 Over medium heat, slowly stir in water and coffee; heat thoroughly but do not boil. Stir in rum or brandy extract. Serve immediately.
