Peppermint Chocolate Fudge

  • Makes: about 2 lbs (about 1kg)  
  • Preparation Time: 10 minutes plus chilling time 

Ingredients

1 pkg350 g milk chocolate chips

1 cup250 ml semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 can300 ml Regular Eagle Brand® sweetened condensed milk

Dash salt

1/2 tsp2 ml peppermint extract

¼ cup50 ml crushed hard peppermint candy

Directions

  1 Over low heat, melt chocolate with Eagle Brand and salt. Remove from heat; stir in extract.

  2 Spread evenly into parchment paper-lined 8" (2 L) or 9" (2.5 L) square pan. Sprinkle with peppermint candy.

  3 Chill 2 hours or until firm. Lift fudge from pan with paper; peel off and cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
